This Is Your Song:
Take a line from a song that you love or connect with. Turn that line into the title of your post.
As soon as I read the prompt, the first song that came to my mind was
“Hall of Fame by Script“
An excerpt from the song:
You can throw your hands up
You can beat the clock
You can move a mountain
You can break rocks
You can be a master
Don’t wait for luck
Dedicate yourself and you can find yourself
Whenever I’m doing something and a strong negative feeling starts weighing the positive feelings out. I listen to this song. It has never failed to put me back on the wheel of positivity.
I don’t know if you guys could relate to it or not, but there are times, when I absolutely need a dose of motivation, just like a drug addict needs his drug.
I’ll give you two instances:
~Around 2-3 months back, I had an interview. It was quite rigorous. At times a huge wave of nervousness came sweeping in which would convince me to go back home to the place where I’m comfortable. I remember I sat quietly and just kept on repeating the lyrics of the song in my mind.
Believe or not, it always ends up calming me in situations like these.
~Currently, I am trying to study Japanese, along with college, I plan to give the JLPT N3 level, this July. Any person who has studied Japanese as a foreign language must be familiar with the complexities of the language. It can be really exhausting to cope up with the kanjis.
When I feel like I am never going to pass it,so why even bother, this song really inspires me to at least give my best. Even if, I don’t pass the exam, I’ll be good enough to hold a basic conversation with a native.
I absolutely love the song, because of the go-do-it feeling that it gives me.
I would really like to know, if you guys have a song which inspires you.
